Front Line
Front line enforcement roles typically involve a dimension of patrolling either on foot or in a car or van (there are, however, more static types of front line enforcement roles such as a CCTV operator). These roles are typically uniformed and require the officers to be trained in conflict resolution and in the issuing of fixed penalty notices.
