Right now, more remand foster carers are needed across Kent to provide a safe, stable home for vulnerable young people who have come to the attention of the courts.

Fostering takes energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to make a full-time commitment to fostering.  If you have previously fostered, have experience of working with young people or you have worked with offenders in a professional capacity, we want to hear from you.

We must ask that carers be within a 60 minute drive of Youth Offender Team Courts in the following areas:

• Ashford


• Canterbury


• Faversham


• Dover


• Folkstone


• Maidstone


• Rochester


• Tonbridge

FCA Offers:

• A professional fee of £546 per week, per child


• Paid respite


• 24/7 support 365 days a year


• A local team of social workers, therapists, education specialists and support workers


• Comprehensive, excellent quality training.
