This private testing, analysis & consultancy firm based in Wiltshire currently requires an asbestos surveyor to work across Wiltshire & neighbouring counties. They work across the country, and are one of the leading Asbestos testing organisations in the UK.
Primarily you will be carrying out monitoring of asbestos remediation works; inspection types 1-3 and re-inspection on site where necessary. You will form an important part of the Asbestos Team whilst maintaining & improving good working relationships with customers.
You will be required to carry out – - smoke tests, - air tests including background, leak, clearance, reassurance and personal samples, - visual examinations, - four-stage clearances All carried out in the most cost-effective manner ensuring that the customer’s requirements are met. You must also comply with UKAS procedures by taking part in routine internal and external QA/QC programmes to ensure a high quality is maintained. You will have experience in local authority & facilities management work. You will have a minimum of BOSH P402, P403/404 & must have a full UK valid driver’s license.
